Despite the growing popularity of medical marijuana and CBD, there’s relatively little scientific evidence they actually work – or for which conditions.

Despite the growing popularity of medical marijuana and CBD, there’s relatively little scientific evidence they actually work – or for which conditions. While there is some evidence that it can help certain conditions, like multiple sclerosis symptoms, pain or nausea from chemotherapy, there’s still a lot we don’t know for other ailments. (It doesn’t help that there’s only one production facility authorized to grow and supply medical marijuana to researchers, who each need to go through a DEA approval process.)

So why is it getting more and more popular to use medical marijuana and CBD to treat everything from anxiety to autism to Parkinson’s disease?
