One of Anderson’s most well-known bakeries is going to be making CBD products through¬†a partnership with Advanced CBD.
The Sweetery and Advanced CBD are partnering to create cannabidiol-infused food items. They plan to start with gummy candies this fall, The Sweetery co-owner Ryan Jarahian said. Baked goods would be come later.
The gummies would be sold exclusively at Advanced CBD initially, but they would all be made and packaged at The Sweetery. All of the products would be completely legal for people of all ages to purchase and consume.
“The Sweetery has got the green light from the Department of Agriculture to make all of our edibles,” store owner Matthew Pirkle said.
Locations close to each other
The locations are only half-a-mile apart from each other on Greenville Street, which is how the partnership began. Jarahian decided to try some of Advanced CBD’s products for for anxiety and the stress of running his own business¬†and soon, he’d¬†become friends with Matthew and¬†his¬†son and the store’s manager,¬†Conner.
“They had kind of the same vision that I had, you know just helping people out from arthritis, stress anxiety,” Jarahian said.¬†“All those benefits that CBD can offer. I really believe in that and think it can really help.”
CBD is said to help with anxiety, inflammation, post-traumatic stress disorder and various aches and pains and has become more mainstream in the past few years, with more storefronts offering CBD products.
