Fit Tea is a company that has garnered a whopping $75 million from their products already, however Michael Gonzalez, founder and CEO of Fit Tea plans to make a monumental change in the market space. The company is planning to launch a new product i.e. Happy Tea, in collaboration with the worldwide famous star Kylie Jenner.

The beauty mogul is famous for being rich and having her own line of makeup collection. Kylie is a young 22-year-old Instagram celebrity who has built a multi-billion dollar empire for herself with the help of her mother, Kris Jenner.

According to an article by Grit Daily, the Happy Tea will feature cannabindiol  or CBD, allowing users to relieve their stress, anxiety, depression and promote mental health.

Kylie announced a few days back on her Instagram handle that she will be endorsing the brand while holding a cannister of the Happy Tea. With the massive following that Jenner has, the post was visible to nearly 112 Million followers on her Instagram.

Kylie isn’t the first of the Kardashians to get involved with CBD. Her elder sister, Kim Kardashian has also professed her love for CBD products on her social media accounts. She even threw a CBD-themed baby shower to welcome her fourth baby with husband, Kanye West. Kim said that the arrival of the fourth baby had been overwhleming for her and she was nervous how things would turn out after the baby is born.

Many other celebs like Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Bell, Olivia Wildie, Alessandro Ambrosio, Whopi Goldberg and Emma Roberts have admitted to using CBD for treating their mental health issues like depression, stress, distrubed sleeping patterns and reducing acute pain, aches, inflammation and many other ailments.

CBD is an anti-inflammatory and non-psychoactive compound derived from the hemp plant. Many people have reported medical benefits of CBD after using it in one or the other form after just a week. It is no surprise why so many people have started relying on CBD instead of conventional medicines. CBD is believed to be a potent drug with the power to replace opioids in the coming years.

According to the federal regulations, hemp-derived CBD was legalized in December 2018, under the Farm Bill Act. It was removed from the list of Controlled Substances and labeled as a leagl compound. The federal government capped the upper limit for THC at 0.3% per unit. THC or tetrahydro cannbinoid is another compound found in cannabis plants, which is responsible for the ‘high’ that users get while smoking weed or pot.

Fit Tea was originally launched in 2013, and the brand has become one of the best and top selling teas in detox market. The product has been advertised by several celebs on social media already with its 28-day regime for detoxification, and it has likely experienced this massive success due to its strong influencer marketing.

Gonzalez set out to provide Happy Tea as a product containing CBD benefits, a product that would be distinct from the other formulas by offering a delightful flavour. There are currently three flavors available that are made from all-natural ingredients, including Lemon Zen, Mixed Berry, and Zen Punch. It can be readily dissolved in water, and the brand advises that the powder should be mixed with 12 ounces of water.

Gonzalez focuses on mental health awareness, but owing to the stigma surrounding these health problems, this issue is yet to gain traction. He said, “This is something that urgently needs to alter,” particularly given that millions of adolescents are facing anxiety disorders on an everyday basis.

Currently, purchasing CBD is completely legal in all 50 states, as far as the THC concentration do not exceed 0.3 percent of the formula. While the Farm Bill legalized the sales, buy and cultivation of CBD based on hemp, CBD is still considered by the Food and Drug Administration as a schedule 1 drug. In order to treat particular kinds of epilepsy, the organization even endorsed a CBD oil called Epidiolex.
