CBD is one of many natural compounds found in the hemp plant, known collectively as cannabinoids. It is a natural organic non-psychoactive cannabinoid currently showing promising results in studies all around the world.
It is known to help with, in many cases, startling results: chronic pain, depression, insomnia, stress, epilepsy, panic attacks, migraine, Parkinson’s, MS, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, sciatica, arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis and reduces general inflammation in the body.
It first came to light in Ireland when tireless epilepsy campaigner Vera Twomey first fought for the medicine for her daughter Ava, a sufferer of Dravet Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy.
Twomey spoke to JOE about how she and her daughter found peace when the eight-year-old was finally granted access to the medical cannabis that would prevent her from suffering life-threatening seizures.
“This current medication was prescribed by a consultant, and is keeping her alive. We’ve been fighting to get Ava’s seizures under control for eight years. We can’t give away such a blessing.”
CBD Relieve will sell full spectrum CBD capsules, CBD Balm, CBD crystal isolate which can be used in cooking and baking, Full Spectrum rich hemp oil which has 88% CBD present and is a therapeutic oil and their strongest product, they will also sell CBD balms and body oils.
