In July, 16-year-old RayAnn Moseley of Gulf Breeze will be attending the Florida Youth Leadership Forum in Tallahassee.

In 2012, RayAnn was in a medically induced coma, breathing courtesy of a ventilator. Epilepsy was doing its best to claim her. Doctors trying to save her life did not realistically expect her to recover. They told her parents, Peyton and Holley Moseley, to prepare for the worst for their precious adopted daughter and oldest child.

If you ask RayAnn and her family what brought her out of that desperate condition and what has made it possible for her to attend the Leadership Forum and take full advantage of all the opportunities offered there without fear of the multiple, daily epileptic seizures that defined her life for so long, they will give credit to God first.
